She had them put two jelly beans in a bowl. Then gave each companionship a set of chopsticks. So they had to work together to get the two jelly beans from one bowl to another.
Thinking what to do....
still thinking....
trying....
it worked!!!!!
It was a fun activity.
It was our Stake Conference this weekend and President Jo asked me to speak on service.
I spoke at the Saturday evening meeting. Only enough people came to fill the chapel. Thank heaven.
It was raining cats and dogs all day long. So when we walked to the Stake Center, everything got wet. Our clothes, shoes, hair and my talk.
Sister Yang translated for me. She did a wonderful job. So my talk was the only one we understood. They didn't have anyone translating for us.
It was a very long meeting.
So it rained all day Sunday, too. And the wind was blowing terribly. It was a very hard walk to the Stake Center on Sunday. I wore my winter boots so my feet wouldn't get wet.
The government was sending out texts on our phones to be aware of possible flooding. It was definitely a lot of rain.
Can' believe September is almost over. It has been very nice during the mornings now though. In the upper 60's. So walking has been nice. No more sweating to death.
Hope you all have a good week.
We love you and miss you all.
