This is right across the street from an elementary school.
The President did interviews this week, so was gone most of the time. And next week, he will be gone because of the Mission President Seminar which will be held in Guam.
Wayne has a lot of the missionaries turn in request for reimbursement for travel and miscellaneous things. Some of the time, they do not attach a receipt because they forgot to get one or they lost it. Wayne asked one of our office elders to make up a "Certificate of Honor" for him, so that the missionary would sign that he really did spend the money. (And Wayne needs something to show the auditor) So anyway, this is what Elder Gatherum came up with.
Think he went a little overboard?!?!? He had a lot of fun doing it, so Wayne is going to use it.
We have a new Senior Couple coming in January. They are Samoan and will be the military couple stationed up in Daegu.
We went down to Nampo on Saturday (Souvenir trap). We didn't buy anything, but it sure is a busy little place. This is the place that has all the stores underground. By the time we got home we had walked 7 miles. Boy, you would think I would lose some weight, but it just keeps hanging on.
