Dinner and a program: Elder Seung made the dinner. Korean beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, salad and a roll. It was very good.
There was a returned missionary visiting, so they invited him also. It was the son of JC Dietz and Tammy Rawson. People that we knew back in Salem. It was good to talk with them.
Sisters Mun and Kim were invited also.
So this was the program:
Elder Kearl introduced everyone
1st: Elder Kim sang.
2nd:
Sisters Kim and Mun played a duet of "Chopsticks" It was awesome!
3rd:
Elder Clark sang and played the banjo. It was called "I Lava You"
Very cute.
Elder Kearl played a medley of Primary songs and sang also.
He did an excellent job.
Sister Kim played another song. She is a very good piano player.
Elder Kearl, President Jeong, Sister Kim and Sister Mun sang.
We're all here. Dietz's, President Jeong and Sister Kim, Hunters, Us, Elders Clark, Kearl, Kim, Seung and Sisters Kim and Mun.
Loved the evening and the missionaries.
Wednesday was our last District meeting for this transfer. Since we had Elder Soares with us the week before, our District Leader had us all stand and say what we had learned from him.
Elder Birrell will be going home on the 3rd of September, so we gave him a flag with all of our good wishes.
Elder Birrell on the right.
Elders Kearl and Lee signing the flag.
And here is our district.
Back row: Elders Hunter, Lee, Kearl, Clark, Wayne, Kim, Birrell and Seung.
Front row: Sisters Hunter, Kim, Mun (love her), me, Urbano and Tueller.
All good missionaries and dedicated to the work.
We love them all.
On Saturday night, Wayne and I decided to go and see Korea's largest fountain. I think we took a picture of it when we went to Dadaepo Beach. It was awesome!
We took a couple of videos. Hope this works.
Here's some still shots
It takes an hour to get there be the subway, but it was worth it.
Hope you all have a safe and wonderful Labor day. Please think of us, we will be working hard at the office.
Love you and miss you all.
