1 July - 7 July

So we got another Senior Couple in our office this week.  They are the Hunters from Provo.  She is a nurse and he is her assistant?!?  It will be good to be able to talk with someone.
The President and Assistants and Office Elders went to the new portion of the Daejeon Mission that we received.  We received 19 missionaries also.

These are our newest missionaries.

Anyway, it was really quiet because everyone was gone.  But on Saturday, the Hunter's asked if we wanted to go with them to see the Hydrangea festival at the Taejongsa Park.  So we went for a long drive and was pleasantly surprised.  It was right on the ocean near the Busan Harbor.  We had to cross the harbor on a bridge that was way, way high above the ocean.  Praying all the time that we wouldn't have an earthquake.

It was very crowded.  People were everywhere.

So these are some pictures that we took.
It was very warm, too

Harbor - loading docks

We didn't go down to the lighthouse, but it was a beautiful sight.

These are pictures of the bridge.  It was a beautiful structure, but again, very scary.

We had to take a picture of how they move people around here.  Since everyone lives in apartments and there are no service elevators, this is what they do.
They send a flat platform up and down and pass things out through the balcony.  So they are moving people from the 14th floor.  And people in our complex are moving continuously.

Hopefully, we will get to see some more of Busan, since the Hunters have a car.

For the 4th, I made the Elders some potato salad, chicken enchiladas and zucchini bread.  And brought a bag full of cherries, too.  At least we did something.

Well, that's all.
We love you and miss you all.
